Module 2 was filled with lots of hands-on activities and ideas to do in the classroom. In lesson one I created a comic strip, defining an ecosystem vs. a biome. Lesson 2 we watch how easy is it to create a terrarium. I have always wanted to use this to demonstrate a partially closed system, limited nutrients and the water cycle. Lesson 3 we have fun writing a story and drawing tracks to tell the tale. In lesson 4 I saw how easy it is to make your own casts and got a lot of great tips. Lesson 5 we discuss ethograms to track animal behavior, and built insect traps. I think the simplicity of the potato trap was right on my level. We then created a graphic organizer which is always a fun way to take notes.

I think Lesson 7 was my favorite. There were alot of easy to follow activites that can be done with limited resources in the classroom.
